Born in Germany and raised by a preacher and a nurse, Daniel's family settled on Florida's Space Coast. In his last year of college at the University of Central Florida, Daniel was encourage to hit the stand-up stage. After graduating with honors in finance and marketing, he hit the road and quickly became a favorite a comedy clubs. In 1998 Daniel made his festival debut at the newly formed Chicago Comedy Festival, then in 1999 became a "new faces slot" at the prestigious Montreal Comedy Festival. Daniel also performed at Europe's largest comedy festival, Murphy's Cat Laugh festival in Kilkenny, Ireland. He has hosted 60 episodes of the USA Broadcasting show "Tens," a series of man-on-the-beach interviews and sketches show in Miami and Los Angeles. He has also made appearances on VH-1's "The List," fX's "The Test" and Comedy Central's "Premium Blend." Daniel has also appeared on "The Late Show with David Letterman" two times and can be seen as the goofy spokesman for Taco Bell commercials.
