The second installment of the video-art exhibition "Mixed Doubles" at Carnegie Museum of Art pairs two short films in an investigation of the relationship between action and reaction. Using science, particularly chemistry and physics, "The Way Things Go" (1987-88) by Peter Fischli and David Weiss and Twenty Six (Drawing and Falling Things) (2002) feature experiments that test scientific theories as well as the human mind and its preconceptions.
